Above: El Presidente Shane taps a special firkin

On the afternoon of Saturday November 9th, 2019, Sons of Alchemy President Shane Sansone tapped a special firkin of Big Bottom Brewery’s Peach Cobbler a la Mill Blonde Ale. The original batch included real peach cobbler from The Mill restaurant. For the firkin, Big Bottom co-brewers (and Sons members) Steve Anderson and Shane Sansone added rum barrel aged peach-wood chips and brown sugar. And Big Bottom’s servers added muddled mint to each glass. It all added up to a most unique beer. In the video below, witness Shane driving the tap into the firkin with minimal beer spillage, perhaps a first in Sons of Alchemy history.
