Heady BeerParticipant
Current wish list:
Water test: $100
Off flavor kit for 20-30 people: $50
Tasting glasses with our logo: around $5 a glass. Might need more research for price.
Patches and name tags for the front of our club work shirts: cost needs to be researched.
Artwork for tap box: cost needs to be researched.

Heady BeerParticipantI can order the off flavor kit because I’m bjcp ranked[/quote:3u43fdnx]
Awesome. I think that is our best option. Thanks!
Heady BeerParticipantWork shirts is something that will be figured out by the merchandise manager and voted on. At this point, new members may be responsible for the cost of a shirt. Hopefully the merchandise officer can talk about this next meeting and present some options.
I think club patches and name tags is a great idea. Maybe we can order more shirts and patches at the same time. This is another merchandise officer situation to figure out. Maybe they can research 2-3 options and we can vote on it.
Here is a good link for our off flavor kit options.

The BJCP one is $50 for 20-30 people. There is a requirement.
Any active BJCP member holding the rank of Recognized or higher may purchase one off-flavor kit a year for the price of US$50 (shipping included)."
The water kit was around $100 last time we talked about it.
Heady BeerParticipant2/19 might be a visit to Molly Pitcher. Zack will confirm this next meeting.
Heady BeerParticipantThere is not a lot of activity on this board. Email gets the most activity.
The next meeting is on 11/13/14 at Scotzins. 6:30 ish start time. The focus of the meeting is to plan the upcoming events and meetings. There are a lot of holidays coming up so that should be taken into consideration.
We need to assign a date for the supermarket sweep judging. Dr. lambic (Matt) might host this event.
We should also get an update on Jake’s friendsgiving.
Please bring any educational meeting idea’s. We are due for one. I am interested in revisiting the dry hop experiment. I say we just dry hop some miller lite or something similar. Maybe we can come up with some hop suggestions.
Heady BeerParticipantAwesome work Brian! I will throw you some cash and donate some beer.
Heady BeerParticipantThanks for the update Jake!
We should nail down some dates for the educational ideas and the trip to Lancaster at tomorrows meeting.
For other educational ideas I think we should invite some commercial brewers to do a small presentation on whatever they want to talk about. I know brad has some people in mind and I can get someone from Tröegs.

Heady BeerParticipantBrad and I are going to make a sweet stout.
Looks like we missed the registration but I am sure that can be figured out.
It kinda sucks all if these events are in the summer. The ground water is warm which makes it more diddicult to chill.
July 10, 2014 at 10:33 am in reply to: Dauphin County Brewfest at Fort Hunter Park [along Front St] #589Heady BeerParticipantI am good for three tickets. Anyone else going?
July 1, 2014 at 12:29 am in reply to: Dauphin County Brewfest at Fort Hunter Park [along Front St] #587Heady BeerParticipantI will have a 5% ipa. Don’t have a good name so galaxy ipa will have to do. Count me in for one ticket.
June 9, 2014 at 4:32 pm in reply to: Dauphin County Brewfest at Fort Hunter Park [along Front St] #583Heady BeerParticipantSign me up for 5 gallons of a galazy ipa. I re-brewed what I brought to the meeting with some minor adjustments. My beer will be in a keg.

Heady BeerParticipantThe 5/8 meeting has changed to a Skype meeting at Scotzins starting at 7. I assume most will still be there at 6:30. That might be a good idea so we can get a little organized. Email Brad for details if you missed the email chain today.
I see there is no food planned. Maybe use pizza as a back up unless someone has a better idea.
Heady BeerParticipantBrad showing off the keg cleaner.
Heady BeerParticipantI will throw in for food. I say go for it!
